The Cathedral Church of St. Paul

This stately Gothic Revival style church in downtown Des Moines was completed in 1885, underwent an extensive renovation in the mid-1980s, and became a cathedral for the Diocese of Iowa in 1996. In March 2010, it was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places.
We are thrilled and honored to say our vows in this beautiful and distinguished house of God. Thank you to Deacon John Doherty for so graciously welcoming us into his church family.
St. Paul’s Cathedral is located at the corner of 9th and High Street, across the street from 801 Grand (the tallest building in Des Moines, and also where Andy works!).
Parking: There is large parking lot behind the church, in addition to free street parking all day downtown.
