Abby is an amazing human being with an unbelievable heart…not to mention stunningly beautiful!!! She grew up in Marshalltown, IA and then graduated from the University of Iowa with high distinction and TWO degrees! Journalism and English. She followed that up with going to the Denver Publishing Institute as a graduate course and then headed to New York City to work at Glamour magazine as an intern. After the internship she moved back to Iowa, Des Moines specifically and is currently working at a brand new company called Catchfire Media as a Social Media Analyst. That’s not her only job though; she is also on the High Voltage Dance Team for the Iowa Energy (NBA Development League).

Abby LOVES animals! We have a little Chihuahua (Beckham), and she even has a horse (Need More Scotch). She loves dancing, showing horses, shopping, skiing, cooking, and writing. She made me the happiest man in the world this past December 15th when I asked her to marry me and she said YES!!

She’s been doing a fabulous job planning our special day. We officially have our date set of May 7, 2011, and can’t wait to share it with our closest friends and family!
